The April 2005 Pope Park Cleanup was a resounding success, bringing together 170 valiant volunteers, who picked up 3 dumpsters of trash and urban debris, as well as removing a significant amount of invasive plant species.  The Caribbean jazz rhythms (compliments of the Greater Hartford Arts Council) added a party flavor to the lunchtime gathering.
